Voice of Haipei
This is the 20th issue of the “Voice of Haipei”. In this series, and starting from the 17th issue, our teachers and students have been and will be working together to present a selection of the following: an excerpt or the full text of a piece of well-recognized writing (literary or academic), responses to IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, or other test questions (to give you an example of a high-scoring answer), or an original creation. We hope that by listening and appreciating, our interest in exploring further will be spurred. Remember, for all keen learners, lending an eager ear to the input and reading critically and analytically are effective ways to improve our intellectual capacities and communicative abilities. With sincere dedication and concerted efforts, we will be enriched, empowered, and enlightened.
This 20th production is in three parts. Part I is poetry reading. Part II is a delivery of some suggestions on the practice of spoken Japanese. Part III is a vlog about the daily life in Japan produced by a Haipei graduate who is now studying in Kyoto Sangyo University. The production is an outcome of the concerted efforts of our teachers CHEN Jian and TOKUNAGA Fumie, and three SISU*Haipei Japanese Program students. Their contributions are as follows:
CHEN Jian & CHEN Jiaojiao: Readers of Part I
TOKUNAGA Fumie: Lecturer of Part II
CHU Xiao: Producer of Part III
LIN Yukun/ CHU Xiao: Editors of Part II andPart III
As designed, this is the third issue of a series of Voice of Haipei, the theme of which is “My School and I”. Voice of Haipei (20) is “SISU*Haipei-Japanese Program and I”.
